Armadale Landfill only takes 5 kg free
The City of Armadale's landfill in Hilbert accepts up to 5 kg of asbestos free, for City residents only, with ID and a declaration. That's roughly a few broken pieces, not a fence or a shed.
Anything bigger needs another facility. Ranford Road in Canning Vale charges $17 a sheet (max 8 sheets a day), and Red Hill charges $330 a tonne with a $42 minimum. Both need it wrapped, and you unload it by hand. See our 2026 Perth tip fees guide.
